MUSION EYELINER 3D HOLOGRAPHIC PROJECTION
Musion Eyeliner 3D Holographic Projection system allows stunning high-definition freeform 3D hologram video effects to be projected within a live stage setting using the principles of the Peppers Ghost illusion.
The holographic projection technology produces images of high resolution and quality that make them unmistakably real, which is what happened when Gorillaz & Madonna performed the opening number at the recent Grammy Awards.
Eyeliner 3D is an open system that uses a specially developed screen in reflecting images from high-definition video projectors, making it possible to show 3D holograms of variable sizes and distinct clarity created using a proprietary software. The entire system consists of a truss box and a stage, where the virtual picture appears.
Musion Hologram Overview
Musion hologram technology is truly astonishing enabling 3D holographic projection; a jaw-dropping visual phenomenon that amazes and fascinates audiences of all ages the world over.
Unlike traditional 3D, viewing does not require 3D glasses because holographic projection is not a stereographic effect. Instead, the hologram illusion is created by using projection to provide the viewer’s eyes with other visual cues – reflection, light, shadow, movement, and contrast – that fool the brain into thinking it is seeing a 3D image.
How Does Our Technology Work?
The Musion Eyeliner holographic projection system incorporates a ‘performer’s stage’ that is equipped with state of the art LED lighting and is usually boxed with hard panelling or dark draping along the sides and back of the system. The polymer screen sits on a 45˚ angle between the stage and the audience and at least one high powered, high definition video projector is mounted in front of the foil, projecting onto either the floor or ceiling depending on foil orientation. Live or pre-recorded shows can be shown on the holographic projection screen.
Eyeliner optimised content is typically stored on blank magnetic data carriers such as hard drives, video tapes or blueRay disks and played via data-processing equipment such as HD media players or MAC towers.
Where Can Musion Holograms Be Used?
The Musion Eyeliner 3D holographic projection system is designed to work in public performance areas such as concert venues, theatres, exhibition centres, nightclubs, marquees, large office environments, retail stores and TV studios.
